i have an sv650x which seems to have died, a resistor has burnt out in the tacho however as mentioned in other threads tachos are almost impossible to get hold of and now i think i may have a USA import making it actually impossible.
the ones ive got look like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-SV6...-/111260476636 but the bikes only worth £950. it could just be the resistor but as its burnt i cant see what type of resistor it is to get a new one. can anyone help me either source one or know of any alternatives? or do you think im better off getting a new bike? thanks ben |

You're right - they're hen's teeth. And if you do find.a set they're bloody expensive.
I haven't had an SV clock repaired by them, but have a word with Peter Bond on 020 8289 9031.
