Talking Curry buffet in Glasgow

Can anybody recommend a cheap sunday night indian buffet in glasgow?

Got to take wife & eldest offspring to the Hydro for a thing, and looking for somewhere to waste a couple of hours munching down on nan / pakora / curry / etc.

Don't mind travelling out to somewhere, but don't want to spend a fortune, cos im a tight fecker

http://www.koh-i-noor-glasgow.co.uk/ but being honest I haven't been in ages as I enjoy making my own curries.

I'd also rather go to this place http://bananaleaf-glasgow.co.uk/ and get some southern India chuck, its doesn't fit for what you want as its doesn't do buffet, it's not a place for a hot date as its a tiny wee dump its little more than a scabby takeaway with seats, but the food is great. You commented on my facebook pics of the place a while back.

Default Curry buffet in Glasgow

Mr indias Balta and dosa house... It is excellent. Good food, good prices, good service, good portion sizes!
Are you going to see miranda by any chance?

Mother India's (opposite Kelvingrove) does an awesome curry tapas. Or at least they did, not been for a dew years...

Call off the dogs, the hunt is over. Our resident curry queen raves about India Quay and it's a two minute walk from the Hydro.

Akbar's man myself mind you, proper Bradfordistan curry, but no buffet.

it's Glasgow just about any will do. if they were pizz the locals would throw the stuff at the walls.

Glasgow is the curry capital of Scotland.

All of the above are good. Particular favourites being Koh-i-Nor and Akbar's. Akbar's doesn't do a buffet, but is very reasonably priced with decent portions. I used to go to Leeds to visit when there wasn't a Scottish one...I'm sure that says something. Either it's a good curry, or I'm a fat barsteward....both are applicable I feel.

Koh I noors or india quay look like the winners. Probably koh I noor. Just got a lot of time to kill so buffet means I can graze for a while.
Wife and no.1 child are seeing the wanted. So rather than suffer that I volunteer to go for a curry !!!

Thanks for the input OMO.

Just finished my curry at ..................................India Quay. Got a parking space near to Hydro, so easy just to walk down.
Give it a 8 / 10. Starter buffet is a 10, but actual sauces are nearer 7.
Congratulations to Mrs tiger, she can collect her prize at the GM !!!!!
