Soho 27th June
On this day in 2002 John Entwhistle of The Who, died in his sleep of a heart attack, ruining his wish to 'hope I die before I get old' as he was 57 when he popped off.
So let us raise a latte this Friday in memory of one of the greatest bass players of all time with an obscure poll based on lyrics from my favourite Who song (for those too young to remember the band)

A pretty quiet night but good to catch up with Andy and Ric after Chris finally escaped the chaos around Waterloo and I met a new face but still didn't get a name. An entertaining pillion ride to Liverpool St, just the one wheelie, and the rest of the way we rode like we'd just done a ram raid on a designer hand bag shop on Bond St!
