Default Newbie here

Hi , im new on here,my dads MISTER C. Im just looking at selling my CBR600 steel framed race bike and buying a 56 plate sv.
At the moment its a road bike but if I get it im planning on turning it in to a race bike.
What sort of things am I best upgrading.
Iv heard people say about a zx10 shock(don't know what year)
what forks or springs should I upgrade to,what fairings etc.
As much help would be appreciated.

Upgrade forks first, springs and emulators, cartridge kit or GSXR USD front end, followed by the rear shock at the same time or sooner.

Go with a Gixxer rear for the Pointy. If you want to try a ZX shock, there's one sat in the shed doing nothing muck

Common thought is to use linear springs & oil matched to your weight
