Default Alternative clutch bolts?

Hi guys and girls.

There's something I've been a bit curious about recently.

You know how clutch bolts are only threaded about half way up, then they're smooth up to the head? Well, do you think that putting fully threaded bolts in as replacements would actually make a difference?

I had to use one as a temporary quick-fix with my old ZXR400 and it didn't seem to make a difference but I wonder what other people's opinions are on the matter

Default clutch bolts

The length of the thread won't matter - within reason of course - the hardness of the material might. Unless the bolts you plan to use are the same as the originals, make your substitution temporary.

I was thinking of the standard thread length, just going all the way up to the head unlike the standard bolts that are only threaded half way.
Yeah. I'd expect that to be alright as long as they aren't bigger than the originals so they don't grind on the clutch cover.
