Default Barbie at Keith's place

I have seen the big bright yellow thing in the sky recently and reached the obvious conclusion - it's time to dust off the barbie and carbonise some bits of dead animal. (and some veggie stuff too).

If you fancy joining me for the ritual cremation just PM me for my address and how to get here. If you're a vegetarian please let me know so I can prepare something suitable.

Where:
My place, near Ruislip Gardens tube station.
When:
June 28th. Early afternoon .... 'til we're all done
Plans:
13:00 - Pimms in the garden (sunshine not guaranteed)
15:00 - Fire up the barbie and start some drinking (there will be a separate grill for vegetarians)
Late - Get the fire bowl going and sit around talking b*****ks
Later - Stop drinking, extinguish fire bowl and go to bed.
Bring:
Beer if you want some (I don't drink it). I will have wine, cider and more spirits than are really useful.
Tasty things to put on the barbie
Smiling happy faces

Accommodation:
Unfortunately, my house is tiny so there's no dossing space. Options are:

Ramada Hotel on Long Drive (HA4 0HH) is about half a mile away
The Bell pub on West End Road also claims to be converting to accommodation but I don't know if they'll be ready in time.

I don't believe I've anything planned for that date (although I could be wrong), so a provisional yes here.

I might be taking the nephews to the Festival of Speed this year in which case I'll have to miss this one I'm afraid. But if that trip turns out to be too complicated to organise, and I'm worried that James may try to steal a McClaren, then I may well come along.

I'm working that day, and worse still, I'm on a 06.30 start the day after, so I'll have to give this a miss

This sounds like a great idea. At the moment I have no plans but may be planning a Spain trip around then. Assuming that I do come along, anyone fancy sharing a cab? Or better yet, I may be able to offer a lift to anyone that can make it to my house first.

"Separate grill for Vegetarians" a bit harsh don't you think - or will it be the evenings entertainment served with a dip
