Default Brembo calipers fit?

hi guys!

quick question. I'm not really satisfied with my brakes and besides braided brake lines, I would like to change the calipers. does anyone know if the brembo p30 fit?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231352557515

thanks

Even if it did fit you would need to find a matching one for the other side. Maybe best just spending your money on making sure what you have is spot on instead.

as far as i know nothing fits apart from SV brake callipers. if there was i think other people would be using them.

i hate to keep bringing this up but the SV callipers are fine if kept in tip top condition, but most folk think that changing pads and putting new lines on is going to work wonders when in fact the callipers will need striped and serviced properly.

Buuuut, if you got the know how and tooling you can make pretty much any calipers work on the SV. Just requires the use of adapter brackets. But you would. E better off rebuilding the calipers first and see if you're still unhappy and then trying a fancier master cylinder (should give better feel).

I'll go with this too.

As the others have said, give your calipers a good service. I have Hel braided cables. When i first got my SV I thought the brakes weren't that good and have read that people don't rate them. I have stripped all 3 and serviced them. Wow, what a difference. OK, so they won't feel as sharp as a 4 pot calipers but when sorted they are fine.

I don't think my calipers need any servicing, the bike is not that old and it barely has 9500 miles on the meter. I bought it about half a year ago with 5500 miles, so those 4000 I did miles are mainly nice weather riding. the calipers are in perfect shape, but you can't argue that other bikes have better brakes. the argument that an sv doesn't need better doesn't stand, the bike does 130 miles and accelerates just as hard as a 600 supersport.

anyway, I just wanted to know if changing the calipers is just a matter of replacing them.

The plates are doable.
But you may just as well use Suzuki gsxr running gear
