Losing power
Hi folks, got a 650s K4 and what's happened a few times now is when I'm around 7-8k revs and changing from 4-5 gear the revs drop to around 4-5 and the bike feels, what I can only describe as, like the engine has cut out.
It jutters back to life and I can ride as normal. Don't get the problem when commuting and keeping the revs low, only when I open the throttle. Any suggestions? Cheers! |

Yes, got the same problem with my 99 SV.
Does your bike backfire or spits at all? Do you hear any popping sounds? |

I left my SV for a mechanic to fix because it would stall or lose power at 120KMh +
I believe it's a lean mixture issue in my case but I will find out later Today. You might want to check the spark plugs first and replace them if you didn't do it for a while. |
