I am going to be stripping the front end off the bike to powdercoat the fork lowers. Whilst it's apart I figured it would be worth fitting new head bearings. For my SK6 pointy can someone confirm that it is 2 x 32006 tapered bearings that I need? From reading it looks like a can use a JRRS version on the bottom wich has a built in seal is that correct?

Cheers Bibio, that is a 32006 then. Any disadvantage to using the integrated seal version?

I have just fitted the bearing with the seal on it and the action is lovely, the steering is very smooth.
A worthy addition to your bike. ![]() |
