Default Worth watching?

Tonight on channel4 at 9pm, an hour about Lightweight E-types.
Could be worth recording/viewing?

i enjoyed that. but i do like classic cars.

now the big question... is it a replica? personally i think no as its built by Jag to the specifications of the original cars. if anything its a second run to join its sisters.

Beautiful cars, it's a shame they'll spend all their lives in a shed in the Middle East and they'll never be driven.

Think Jaguar are targeting their buyers to try & avoid just that - hope so.
Can see the point of view of the owner of lightweight #1 who reckons it devalues his car ( £5.5 million ) and that the newcomers may be driven with a 'little more verve' risking damage to his car on track. Lord Goodwood saying he'll NEVER let them loose on his track is also a shame.
Perhaps a one-make series for the new boys?
If you had a spare £2.2 million in a Swiss bank account, would you invest in one of these or suffer negative interest on the cash - it's already happening in the rarified ranks of the uber-rich.
Anyways, it's on again tonight, Channel4 @ 7pm.

This. Second batch of effectively the same vehicle by the same manufacturer. That's not the definition of a replica. They don't have the kudos of the first batch or the history (yet) but I hope they get there.
