Default OMO Tough Camera

Looking for advice. I am looking for a "tough " camera. Recently my better half took one or two photo's whilst on the pillion with her phone, the composition was great most of the time but the quality not so. So I'm looking for some thing to suit. Obviously nothing is going to be tough enough to survive being dropped from the back at speed then run over. There are many cameras such as this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-DM...s=tough+camera and this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Coolpix-S33-...s=tough+camera . So what would be good for the back of the bike. Obviously she will be wearing gloves whilst on a moving bike and a bikes no tripod and virtually always using auto as there's no set up time.

why not get something like an SJ4000 action cam or similar? Dirt cheap, tough as old boots if you keep them in the case, and they'll do still footage etc.

Yes I'm thinking of this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3013486066...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
As I believe that is what Bibio has and he's happy so it's on the list.

Downsides are that it's not meant for holding like a point and shoot and I don't think it chooses say "landscape" when in auto.

What about a drift ghost. Can pick them up relatively cheaply now and with the remote on her wrist, she can just move her head towards what she wants to picture and press the button. Can also take pics whilst simultaneously recording video.

Not the way she had in mind, so we will give it a go with my GoPro and see how it goes.
