On 11th October I will be running / limping / crawling a distance that is further than I care to think about in the Royal Parks Half Marathon raising money for Samaritans. Samaritans is available round the clock, every single day of the year providing a safe place for anyone struggling to cope, whoever they are, however they feel, whatever life has done to them. Ouch.

Almost ready.
4 weeks to go and I put in 16k this morning. I think my legs are considering going on strike overnight. But sure I'll be walking in the morning!

I hate tapering before any event. The weeks of mental doubts and looking for any excuse not to run are now replaced with thoughts of wanting to run all the time!!
