Am I asking too much? - SV650.org

Hi guys

I decided to sell the SV so I stuck it on ebay but the auction has ended and I only got one offer of £1000, 27 watchrs and almost 1000 views. Am I asking too much for the bike or is it just that time of year? I might list it one more time but would I better off keeping it until net year?

Decent price that, depends on various things as to whether you'll get your money for it.
Wait for the spring if you can.

Thought so, might invest in a battery conditioner and tuck it up in the garage for the winter

Yeah, I thought the price was pretty keen already. Thought it would have been snapped up.

On one hand I'm happy to wait for the spring, on the other it would be nice to have the cash to make the upcoming house move easier and it gives me the option if I see another bike I can just jump straight in.

I bought mine a month ago so am reasonably in sync with current prices, in a word yes too high with that mileage I'm afraid.

The mileage is the only thing bringing it down (Not that it should, but people see big and think bad.) I think with upgrades its got its worth at least £1500 - £1600

The valve check will also need doing again around about now, that might be putting people off.
