Hi Guys,
just managed to get hold of some GSXR K3 1000 forks for cheap. few questions: 1. can they be used with srad 750 yokes to maintain the steering lock? 2. if i use the 750 srad yokes will i need to use the srad wheel and axle? 3. brakes are radial, will i need to change the sv master cylinder? what size disks will i need if using the srad 750 wheel? thanks guys. |

this has been asked before and the answer is, yes it can work but not without a lot of fabrication of parts.
stick to the same parts for year and its all fine, start messing with other year parts and you end up in a right mess. my advice is to get a new top yoke made from say Matt at topyokes who will make it so you can keep the steering lock but use the later GSXR bottom yoke. along with the GSXR yokes you also need a special top bearing for use on the curvy. |
