hello, a very recent convert to the SV650s, unfortunately the seat has a split and rather than recover it I would like to find a genuine replacement if possible, my bike is an 02 reg, any help much appreciated, thanks, oh btw as I live in the far north Scotland I would need postage arranged, thanks again

I wouldn't bother, send it to someone like Tony Archer seats, get it recovered and have a gel pad inserted at the same time, as this makes the curvy seat much more bearable on long runs.
Its a common mod & Tony Archer has very quick turnaround. Quality of his work is very good. Or just get a new cover and a stapler to fix yours, plenty on Ebay
