More comfortable riding position without having to change the yoke.

Too high and they are called ape-hangers

Fairing clearance on full lock is what usually limits bar length and width, but if you are staying with narrow clip-ons think about cable lengths and instrument vision.

eBay is always the place to start.

I've got Gillies Vario bars on my curvy, I'll have to measure the risers for height, but they are the shortest out of the risers in Gilles collection. I think they are 60mm ones, which is about the limit of the windscreen for the M/C cap.
They are expensive, but I got mine 2nd hand from Ebay. The beauty of Vario bars is you can fiddle with the settings to find one that suits you & the fairing. The curvy is a right faff to get it right, comfortable, but doesn't foul the fairing, or tank.

The clutch cable will be long enough, but you'd be better off getting the naked bikes throttle cables. Another faff to fit.

If Gilles are too expensive, then something like this?

I can't vouch for them, and you take your chances with Far East stuff, but some of it is ok, other people have bought bars like this and they've been fine.

TBH, its the angle of the standard bars that causes most of the discomfort IMHO, not the height
