Worth a watch
For anyone who wants to see what can be achieved with a lathe, a milling machine and a bag of tools search on YouTube for Allen Millyard.

Amazing, isn't he. The sheer methodical patience of the man is amazing - even with his incredible metal-working skills, tasks like cutting a strip of aluminium to widen the crankcases of the Honda SS100, welding it in and finishing it so the cases are oiltight would take a LOT of time.
