Default ASV brake lever

Do ASV brake levers (or equivalent) allow the lever to come closer to the handlebar? Since breaking my wrist I find it harder and slightly painful to stretch to the lever. The SV is not so bad but the Kawasaki is worse even with the adjustment set to its closest position.

i would not buy AVS but the chinese ones instead. but to answer your question, yes they are adjustable for span. if your bike already has adjustable leavers then i doubt you would gain much. beware adjusting the clutch lever too close as it can mess with gear changes.

i think a better idea would be to give yourself some physio on the hand.

I just had a reply from Oberon Performance, they're a British company that make adjustable brake levers. I inquired about the difference in styles of brake lever for the Z900RS. They replied saying they don't make levers for Kawasaki's.

Here's a link to their webpage: https://www.oberon-performance.co.uk...lever-lev-b300

I try and avoid supporting the Chinese Communist Party whenever possible.

Well, I bought the ASV levers and yes, they give far more adjustment - the minimum distance between the leading edge of the brake lever and the leading edge of the handlebar is 48mm. This is a meaningless number to you since I didn't measure the stock distance but be assured it's much closer.

Yes, I am having physio but the tingling/numbness in my finger tips may take a year to clear (if it ever does). Physio addresses the range of motion but the nerve issues can only be fixed with time (or so I'm told).
