Default Knee down

I DID IT!!

after 50miles of circulating islands and adjusting my body position each time there it was SCRAPE, SCRAPE, everyone who said it was technique was right, i lean my sv1000 over til theres no tyre left to ride on, my chicken strips are zero! but its not needed to get your knee down, thanks to all the people that said just hang off as far as poss so it feels silly i did and it work'd
the first time you hear it touch down? well it gets easyer after that.

daz.

whats even better about getting your knee down by using the correct technique is you suddenly realise how much further you have got to lean the bike as well... at first you think your going to fall over on the bike, when you get your knee down, its woohahhahaa.. I got miles left to bank on the bike as well...

congrats mate, you have now joined the club.. now you have to go out and scrape your left knee slider

You want my bike if you want something that corners on rails not got my knee down on this one yet, but its much more planted than the previous ZX-6R so think I should be able to get that out the way pretty quickly one weather dries a bit!
got rid of chicken strips on right side of tyre withing first day of ownership... now its a case of seremony of scraping right knee going round roundabout, the n scrape left as I exit it stage right... left... lol

nice one kwak! I think the left will be a bit trickier without a trackday or a trip to France.

and it will be all run in by the weekend then.. as I dont use it for commuting.. been bloody cleaning it everytime Ive taken it out.. has about 12 coats of polish on it already!
trying to stay away from the temptation of taking it appart as well!
earning enough that I can pay someone alse to do the mucky work.. but its still calling me in the garage...

there are good left hand corners near me to get left knee down one is a slip road that goes through 270 and tightens up to buggery near the end.... and other random slow speed corners up on the mountains near me... but you need cajones of steel to do those corners dangling off your bike... hence why I no longer attempt those corners anymore!
