Default bt 020-020

Lots of posts about 010-020 combinations, but I went 020 front and rear on my K1. Reasonable price, well pleased with the performance. Wear is good and grip good both wet and dry.

No signs of white lining or overbanding problems, and confidence instantly goes up another couple of notches

I've got 020s front and rear and the bike still white-lines badly. Also wear on the rear is appalling, got hrough my last 020 in 3500 miles!

Will be moving on to either Conti RoadAttacks or Metzeler Z-6s after Xmas (or could be before at this rate!).

Jonboy. I had the 010-020 combo until last week when i had to replace the front. The rear has still probably got 1000-1500 miles left so wanted to try the Conti road attack on the front with a view to replacing the back with another road attack when required (prob about 2 months), however I was advised against this by the tyre fitters due to construction & profile and ended up getting a 020 put on the front.
Will you update this post or start a new thread if you get the Conti's fitted as i really do want to try them. Quite a bit cheaper too.

I have been looking for a set of 020's. The best price I have been given fitted to the bike is £190. I that about right or too expensive?

If it's ride in, ride out fitted, then that's about right. You might get it ten quid cheaper elsewhere but that's about it.

Just got a set fitted and done about 300 miles. They are fantastic! Loads of grip and a good ride.
