new mcc?

hi all,
i have finally decided, that due to the fact of there being no clubs or groups for bikers in or around hinckley, leics, i will try and start up an mcc. the main idea being to meet local bikers, go for ride outs, rallies, a drink or three, etc. there are lots of bikers near me (i know cause i see them riding to/from work even at this time of year!), so im hoping it could be a good idea.
any ideas or tips from members of other clubs would be useful because i've not done anything like this before.
also if anyone wants to come along, let me know and i'll post more info.

all i can say is first - get yourself a website,
second - print loads of flyers and hand them to dealers and mabe in local papers and mags / MCN and bike trader and stuff like that.

third - just stick with it - chances are that no one will turn up for a while (but just stick with it - more are likely to pop along)


then when more people are involved . . . . the roads are endless
