Fatal Accident
Several weeks ago an email was sent round my office explaining that a colleague would not be in for some time due to a family bereavement. I later heard that her brother had been killed in a road accident and only heard from another colleague yesterday that he had been riding a motorcycle.
The details are somewhat sketchy but it appears that a car coming in the opposite direction crossed the centre line while overtaking another vehicle. He didn't have a chance. I know that stretch of road and it's the last place I'd consider overtaking. I never met him but by all accounts he was a top bloke who will be badly missed by all who knew him. Be careful guys. |
