Hello!!!

I'm in doubt!
Two friends of mine have a VTR Firestorm but only do 150 - 160 Km on 17 litres of 95 octan gasoline...

I really want a 650 s / 1000 s in the bronze colour! but I really want to know how many km's a 650 and/or 1000 do

Can anyone help me!!!

Thanx....

On a 650 you'll probably average at least 200Km to a tank of petrol, which you'll probably fill up after about 14 litres.

Btw, Firestorms are known as being very, very thirsty bikes.

Im now on 6000KM and have kept a some what fuel to mileage thing, ie evertime I fill up I've kept note of have much and ever time noted the mileage, always seam to get around 180 KM on 13 litres...(or when the light comes on) or 235 KM on 17 litres when there wasn't a fuel stop and she who has to be obayed had to come to the rescue.!!! (112.5 miles on 13 lires or 146 miles on 17 litres) using the same 95 octain fuel.
So , get an SV, there great and make more smiles per mile...

Oh, and welcome to the site.

Btw, I once got over 300Kms out of 15 litres. Was petrified about running out though.

I got as high as 285 KM (ran out at a traffic light with the station in view) That was with a mix of city and country riding. I imagine with all touring, I may get a few more. I know of someone who went 320 km and didn't run out though.

I tuned mine in a bit better than standard and I get about 22 km's/litre. I travel about 310km's a week and make it no worries between fillups. Very economical bike
