Default Something Nice Happened To Me....

Got home from work tonight to find a letter from the legal cover people telling me that the prat who turned across parked traffic to knock me off last year has finally admitted liability. His insurers want a medical report and photos of my damaged kit but otherwise it will all get sorted and (important to me) I get my NCB back and mabel back to her beautiful black best.

It turned out the driver was a local solicitor, hence him fighting this all the way I suppose. But big thanks to white van man who witnessed things, gave me a contact number and later made a statement against the other driver. He even signed the map I produced as an accurate report of the incident. Top bloke!

It has taken some time and effort but for once it looks like things are going to turn out OK for the much maligned biker.

Excellent news, congratulations.

Just shows it can be worth the wait in the end... it's just getting there that can be a real pain to live with.
Nice one.

I hate solicitors.................. the most supercilious group of tossers on the planet.

Take the blood-sucking leech for every penny you can get.

Sadly it will come out of his insurer's pocket rather than his however I agree with the sentiment - screw him.

Here! Here!

They earn far too much money for the amount of effort put in.

Good result there Annie. Just when you thought you were going to have a battle to the end as well .

Can I assume that Mabel will be back on the road looking sweet before the Summer arrives Or are you now only concerned with the blade
