Default Urgent question plz help!

Hi, I have just taken the air filter out and have noticed some oil in the box thing (not the air filter) Should there be any oil there?

depends how much, swiming is bad.

Theres a breather pipe, that feeds into the airbox, so mine has a few drops of oil in there, but not a lot.

You can buy a filter for the breather pipe, and attach it elsewhere, but a bit of oil shouldnt hurt. If you are over filling your oil it could just be some excess being spurted up the breather pipe.

Yeah, a bit's fine fromt he breater, if it's enough to be pouring about check you've got the bike propperly level when you're checking the oil level and not over filling it

I always clean it out, it probably achieves absolutely nothing though

Cos next time some oil comes up there won't be any there! See?

Yeah, i know It's not like I go in just to empty it out or anything, just when i've got eh filter out I always give it a quick wipe.

Has anyone else noticed how variable the length of the pipe on the RHS of the airbox is? Mine is about 9 inches long, Jimmy's is about 4 inches and I saw one on Ebay that you'd need a magnifying glsas to find. We are still talking about airboxes.
