Default Road Attacks v. Bt 020s

Any idea? I've been quoted 165 for the Road Attacks, and 170 for the Bridgestones (both a fitted pair). From what I read here, seems like a good price on both pairs, maybe the RA price is higher because the tyre place doesn't sell them (has the BTs in stock)

I'm after a good mileage rather than awesome grip really, 'cos I ride like a girl, and would prefer something that would help me learn to lean into corners more (getting overtaken by the Pizza delivery boys on roundabouts is kinda embarrasing...)

Thanks

The Road Attacks will give you considerably more mileage than the 020's and according to all reports are every bit as good.

Whereabouts in bournemouth have you been quoted that?
Give Barclays in Boscombe a ring, if you haven't already, you might be able to get a slightly better price on the contis.
Btw, that's what I'd choose.

BTs come highly recommended here, although I have no idea about either. Listen to Jonboy, he's probably right

I have definately found the Contis are better than the 020s, the Bridgestones are still a damn good tyre though.

I think you'll find by the time VAT and balancing has been added it'll likely work out at around £12-15 per tyre.

Pirelli Diabolos anyone?

Roadtec's?

Loads of choice for the SV

Seems like my Hairnet is a bit more particular about which hoops to use. Well, you know what it's like when you have a highly tuned thoroughbred

Paul, shorrocks on leyland rd, penwortham charge £7.50 per tyre to a loose wheel, which includes vat / balance etc. If you dont want to take your old tyre to the tip yourself there is also a £1 per tyre disposal fee.
