The DVLA, your registration docs will need to be changed, also for your driving licence.
You need to take certificate of insurance, registration docs. (and MOT cert if bike older than 3). to the post office. If your Bike is datatagged then will need to tell them. |

It's apparent that there are gaping holes in the DVLA database, it may be early days, but three times? So far it just plain doesn't work.

Ian,
do you insure them all through the same company? Perhaps write a letter to them asking why they appear not to be part of the DVLA's database, and part of a prominent fraud reduction scheme?

Unsurprisingly, when I have mentioned this to two of the three insurance companies, they don't know why either.

What happens if you are insured to drive any bike and you go to tax your second bike that's not on your insr policy?

The bike has to be specifically shown to be insured in it's own right to get taxed. |

i have a copy of my companies insurance certificate that states cover is "limited to any vehicle owned, leased or hired by the policyholder or his agents"
I have used it to tax my company car without problem, So I would assume if you have a multi bike policy it will either name the bikes or state something like the above, ie Owned, hired or leased by the policyholder.
