I got one in me front-
called a mobile repair chappy-

it was mendable and nly cost £20

just plug it n glue summat etc etc - came with the tyre thingy in the van like a mini workshop..

Is fine now- is a bit scarey at first when it is on yer mind that it has been mended but I am now back to 120 mph no probs

I have had a nail in the tyre a couple of times, luckily both time in the tread and not the side wall. Take the wheel off and take it to the local bike shop, they should only charge you 10 to 15 quid to take the tyre off and repair properly, and should be as good as it was before.

yup, what he said,
i got it done for a tenner 3 times in my old tyre.
dont go to a dealer, as they wanted to charge me 40 quid with a 2 week wait (despite me buying the bike from then a few hours ago)

I had a nail in my tyre at 60MPH, followed by an exploding tyre and a low side for about 150 yards.

Got up and walked to my bike to pick it up, hardly any damage god bless those crash bungs.

Surprisingly i did need a new tyre

If you plug the tyre you lose the Z speed rating (actually you should lose all but the lowest rating)

The only puncture I have had was caused by a Stanley Knife. This was 150 miles after the new tyre was fitted - b'stards.
