Hi guy's,

Well a glorious day get home with a big smile on my face looking forward to a blat around town, Gear up get the bike out key in and B*%L$CKS!

She turns nicely but with or without choke or blipping the throttle she just wont fire????
When I do blip the throttle she turns a little quicker but I can't see anything wrong and its only been 3 days since I was last on her and then it was dry aswell.

Please help the sun's going down and I'd like to try again tomorrow!

Many thanks in advance if someone can lend me a hand

wouldn't say it was the battery, she's been cranking over nicely as before today she just won't fire up.

I can hear the pistons pumping through the exhaust but no BANG!

do you have an alarm or immobiliser, maybe its that ??

Sounds like either lack of spark or fuel

I'm not very mechanically minded, hopefully somebody a bit more helpful will be along shortly...

It could be a multude of things, most likely I think is fuel starvation. Check all your fuel lines and make sure none have come loose. The carbs may be blocked. Check the fuel is being pumped all the way to the carbs.

And the obvious, fuel in the tank

Take the plugs out and see if they are wet after cranking the engine. If they are dry then you know the fault and will just have to find the blockage.

Whilst the plugs are out, see if you are getting a spark from them when you crank the engine.

been playing around and she started, seeing as I'd taken the airbox off I switched her off to put it back on.

Airbox on, same again!

Airbox off, crank her over and notice air is being forced back out through the carb from the back cylinder but not from the front.

Plugs are wet but cant seem to be able to hold the plug, pull in the clutch and push the start button. something a person with two hands can't achieve

any more ideas guy's or am I in trouble with the engine????

Use a zip tie to hold the clutch in. I wouldn't say there is anything wrong with the engine. Sounds more like an air fuel mixture problem.

right got fuel and spark (thanks to a cable-tie)

She started again but I dont think the float chambers are filling and the battery is beginning to wither away aswell.

Is there any way of kicking her into life like easy-start??
