I use Spares Direct all the time, good range of stock. Sorted me out with a rear brake switch assembly when I couldn't get one anywhere else and was getting MOT'd within the hour. They seem to be able to get pretty much anything out within a couple of days (though I've not asked for anything really out of the ordinary).

Most recent MOT was done by Riverside Motorcycles in Putney, it's a Harley garage so if you fail on anything they won't fix it for you, but pretty reasonable in their application of the rules.
But I'd guess there's probably a decent place closer to you.

Bob Thomas in Regents Park Road N3 does MOT and must be just round the corner from you.As for parts as above or mail order from any of the suppliers who are in MCN.
Welcome to North London BTW.Its a dump isnt it,with far too many cars taking up all the bike space?
