Default brake pads

Ok, I've put new hoops on, but while I was looking at the tyres yesterday I noticed the back pads were way worn and the fronts are getting a bit close, so time for new pads all round.

Anybody got suggestions for some pads which balance value for money fairly well with actually stopping the bike?
I do ride a little spiritedly at times, but I wouldn't say I get all that much heat into the system, so I reckon still road type pads.

Bugger!
I was there this morning.
I did consider getting some while I was there, but I didn't have enough for them and the tyres.

EBC H.H's work for me, seem to bite a bit more sharper, espically if you pull in quickly (ala stoppie)

EBC-HH pads, one fingered braking ahoy, down from dubious speeds last night, on standard lines

highly entertaining and very cheap upgrade

Edit: curse my slow fingers, and that dumbass customer

EBC HHs are the way to go, make a cool fizzing noise too!

Not really an upgrade for me, just basic maintenance.

The carbones dont eat your disks like HH's do a fraction less power, but much more than stock pads. as for rear, std pads are fine in there.

I'm running EBC's and I'm pretty pleased with them... I've not noticed the HHs wear the discs much faster than stock, tbh, but I'll probably try the Carbon Lorraine's next
