Akraprovic Full system - where from? - SV650.org

Not sure whether this should be in the wanted forum...

I'm after an Akrapovic full system for a K5 with a carbon can. The best price I've found for a new one is £536 on the inter-web. Can anyone else recommend a dealer who sells them. There's none on e-bay or in the for sale forum before you mention it - unless any of you lot want to sell me one?

Sorry but Akraprovic don't make a system for the k5 model sv650.They only make the system for the k3 model which will not fit the later models due to the sub frame changes. We are the performance centre for Bristol and stock there systems.

try cresent suzuki. they had a full system when i was at there show room, but not sure about an 05 sv.

hall13uk has just had a full akra system fitted to his K4. I was under the impression that the subframe changes on the K4 were carried forward, so k4-5 are interchangeable.

I was under the impression that Hall13uk hadn't had it fitted due to insurance woes.

I could be wrong.

Akrapovic only list SV650 99 - 02 and K3 models.

They list SV1000 K3 - K5, so I don't think it's a case of just being out of date.

Just had a quick look, there's no Akrapovic anything for a SV650, although there are 4 pages of SV stuff, so I could have missed it.

If Hall13uk has got a full system on a K4 then it should fit a K5, mechanically they're the same apart from the radiator mountings and something else that I can't remember. Sounds like I need to do a bit more research...

you could try speaking with Performance Parts or PDQ who distribute the Akrapovic systems for the SV they should known for sure!
