Default best place to buy bulbs?

for the motrax indicators, as i am going to fit some LED indicators and i don't think i will be using the resistors as they get very hot so i may wire up some old motrax indicators and hide them under the seat and that will create the load for the LED's and they dont get hot.

the resistors will only get really hot if they are too low power rating. You really need 25W rating (6.8 Ohms typically) because although the average power for the on/off cycle is more like 10W, during the time they're on it's nearer 20W so the "on-temperature" goes up.

Hein Gericke do some heavyweight alum heatsink type resistors for a couple of quid a piece, easier all round I'd guess.
These do them at £7-50 a pair with some leads attached

I don't know if the flasher unit they show for LED use is compatible with the SV. If it is it would be a simple fix for £15 no messing.

I left my Resistors free-standing under my seat & didn't get any problems at all

standard nylon cable ties are good for around 100C, a resistor will die before that.
