Default Dyno Testing

Hello again,

Well after opening the can of worms with my restrictor kit topic yesterday, I found out some interesting news this morning.

Spakkitten told me that you can get a new restrictor from suzuki for 60 quid and they will generally fit it free if you buy a bike from them. **STOP PRESS!!!** I don't know if this is a nationwide problem, but Suzuki in preston have just advised me they are now unable to get hold of the genuine suzuki restrictors, and there only alternative is to purchase from F1 - at £150 a time!!

I told them that I have a 7mth old genuine Suzuki restrictor, I just wanted it fitted and certified, but they do not have the equipment to test if it is working.

I've spoken to a couple of other garages, they've advised me that a need to get it dyno tested and the most I can hope for is a graph printout before and after fitting. Will this be sufficient?

I've found one place in Preston FW Developments who have quoted me £35.25, but since I am picking the bike up from Southampton on Monday, it would be nice to get it fitted and tested as soon as I pick it up... can anyone recommend somewhere?

you could also give Crescent Suzuki a call. Their performance centre is only 30 miles from the Soton Suzuki dealer and they definitely have a dyno.
