Default Scottoiler - what are your settings ????

I started with setting 4 as suggested in the manual.
But my swingarm always got dirty....
So I had it at 3 for a while - same problem..... now 2.... still some oil drops on the swingarm.

I am now trying Setting 1.

I've got the old-style one without the markings, but it's practically off during the summer.

On the KTM mine is set at three. Swingarm gets a bit dirty but I can live with that - don't wash it that much anyway so it kind of matches!!!

It also depends on whether you have summer or winter oil in it as the summer stuff is a wee bit thinner.

I've been running on mine at 2. My work varies a lot so sometimes the bike is out lots and other weeks I might not be able to get on it. 2 was fine when I use it regularly, but it was drying out in between and the odd rust spot apprearing. If you have it that low suggest you spray lube chain if bike's going to be laid up for a week or two.

One of mine is on 6, the other is on 3 - basically you need to set it on what is good for you - they all vary anyway.....
