Was wondering if anyone has the regular 1 inch GenMar risers installed?
http://www.zianet.com/GenMar/images/X103_SV650up.jpg They also offer a one inch up and 3/8 inch back riser (extension block) but that one appears to require a new brake line (and they provide it with the up and back riser). Am wondering if the simple "one inch up" also requires the longer brake line. But, otoh, I have my forks slid up in the triple clamps a bit more than an inch...(bringing the bars down) so that would put the bars (with 1 inch riser) about the same place they'd be (relative to the brake) as before I lowered the front. So I'm thinking I *wouldn't* need a diff. brake line. Thought I'd check around here and see if anyone knows *different*. Thanks! ![]() Aunty Em Tampa FL ps: have had the SV about 6 weeks now, have put about 1000 miles on it, just fun weekend type riding - I'm in love with this motorcycle. Wish I hadn't had to lower it, but its wonderful having feet flat down and haven't scraped anything yet. |
