Default Getting stickers off!?

I think someone may have asked about this before, but can anyone remind me of how i can get the 'warning' stickers off the tank which of course is metal and off the fairing (plastic). I have peeled them off but it has left clear gooey glue behind and l am now wishing i'd just left them. How does one get that stuff off without damaging the paint? Thanks guys and girls. james

warm them up as much as you can with a hairdryer and then peel them off, keep the hairdrier going on the patch that you want to remove and if youe lucky they come off in one with no residue left behind

Warming up with a hairdryer will easily remove all but the large one on the tank. For that i left it out in the sun for a good many hours and it peeled off. Anything left behind can be warmed in the sun and rubbed of with a chamois

For the tank one I used loads and loads of boiling water on a cloth left on the sticker then peeling gradually from one side...and then wd40 and a couple of jars of elbow grease
