Default Ignition mapping mod

I'm sure this has been asked a million times but I've had a look and can't track down the answer.

The FAQ talks about an ignition mapping retard on 2nd and 3rd and shows how to prevent it from occuring. This raises a couple of questions.

1) I have a naked K1 with carbs. Is this one of the models affected.
2) Has anyone done it and is there a real performance uplift.

Cheers,
Mark

Yes you can do it to your bike. Ive done it to mine. Apparantly adds 1-2bhp. I havent noticed the difference, but hey, if it increases power and it free then why not do it. Only takes 15mins.

IIRC it only affects certain points of the rev band and so doesn't add any top end power at all. I did it, can't tell any difference...
