Default The GS has gone

Sold the GS tonight, well actually the Auction finished on Saturday but it's now been collected and the cash is ion my hand.

For those of you who think that BMW's are expensive: I bought the GS last year with 6,000 miles on the clock for £7K, I sold it on ebay with 18,971 miles on the clock for £7.1K. Now thats what I call depreciation.

So currently I have only the VFR and Goldwing but next Monday I am picking up one of these

Needed to manage my losses, I figured that with my milage if I kept it another 6 months it would be at 24-28,000 miles. If I kept it a year at 30-35,000.

At the moment it still has 5 months BMW warranty so that helped.

The other factor was that the 1200 GS Adv is being launched in a couple of months so it seemed like a good time to sell.

What's the new scoot? I can see it's got a Rotax motor, but that's all!

Its an ex MOD Armstrong MT500. One of the last to go into service in 1987 decommissioned in 1991 and sold at a Military Auction to its current owner in 1997.

It has done 1447 miles. I have bought it as I used to ride on in my service days, it will be my green laner and winter hack.
