Help me choose a colour for my forks. - SV650.org

Right, I'll be powdercoating my fork legs soon, and am a bit undecided as to what colour to go with.

The bikes bodywork is blue and silver with dashes of red (screen, lights, etc.), the wheels are/will be gloss black, with silver mudguard & hugger, and (obviously) silver discs.

Now I'm undecided on the following colours for the forks, and (when it's made) the swingarm:
Silver would go... but it's a bit boring.
Gloss red looks lovely on the new Kawasaki ER6
I'm most tempted with gloss black as it would go with the wheels, and would show up less filth, but I don't want it to look like rat bike.

Your suggestions, please.

Black... To match the wheels. And I think you have an '00? So it'd match the engine cases to, if I'm right.

Except the visible engine casing is all carbon fibre now... you know that.

Real tough call that. A piccy or two would help greatly. What's the chance?

I've got lowers as well, so there's not much engine on display now anyway... but what is on display is all covered with lovely, lovely carbon fibre. Or it will be when I get that custom front sprocket cover made... and that's almost arranged now. I've also got carbon fibre side panels and heel plates, so it's all starting to come together. I'll get a picture soon.

I've got Friday off, and I'm sketching my ideas for my custom paintjob to show my guy on Saturday (it'll be the same guy who did my custom helmet now that I've tracked him down again:
http://www.visordown.com/forums/show...ght=darth+maul ), so at the same time I'll see what it'll look like with the various colour forks and swingarm. I'm not sure how to scan it in, so I may have to pop round and see my dad for that - he's retired, so just enjoys being useful whenever he can now.

OK I gonna give you the ultimate answer

Nickle. Yep it looks fantastic its like a black chrome and utterly cool. I think it costs around the same as chrome plating just not sure how much that is
