Instad of messing about with glue and/or screws is it possible to attach the longer VStrom mudguard to an SV, in this an '01 650S? Thanks.

I think the fork sliders are the same, so yes, it should fit.
No guarantees though, and depending on how close it fits to the tyre on the Strom, it may be a bit gappy on an SV.
