Default Good heated grips

Hi,

What would one recommend in terms of heated grips for an SV650 K4? Also what about other heated clothing? I'd like to use my bike more in the winter months (assuming it's not icy) but don't fancy being frozen as apparently this is actually more of a detriment to riding ability than being drunk.

Regards,
Martin

im just in the process of fitting oxford heater grips, which i''ve had prevously and they were good.. in the cold (like now ish) your hands are nice and warmer.
if the the weather turns any colder they're not quite up to it and you still end up with cold hands but certainly not painfully or uncomfortably cold.

I also had the oxford 'hothand' which are the wrap around ones.. a tad easier to fit, but then some scrot nicked mine. so i owuldnt bother with those.

i paid £29.99 for mine, i'll just try and find put where i got them..

The Heine Gericke ones are very good, hardly fatter than the standard grips, and also look like standard grips.

Thanks everyone, I think I'll give Busters Accessories a miss reading the stories about others' misfortune with credit card fraud.

I've got a set of HG heated grips. I bought them on recommendation from Topcat as he's had his for 2 years and no problems what so ever.

I'll be getting a set of Daytona grips, Slingers in Preston sell 'em. They're made in Japan, whereas all the competitors are made in Taiwan and China.

i've got oxford heated grips, not the wrap around ones, the permanently fixed type.

the left grip never seems to get as warm as the right, i think mr toad had this problem too on his SV (RIP).

may be coincidence but......
