Default Hamicad fitted

Hamicad left a few gaps i did not like so cut up a piece from a dvd box and screwed it down. Water tight now and covers up the lil cuts i made to undertray which made it dead easy doing up the last two bolts on hamicad. Will probably get some push pins when i find some and replace the screw cover thingy

Not sure why you felt you had to cut the Hamicad, fitted mine yesterday and although it was tricky to get to those two bolts I did it eventually with no special tools. Was just a little time consuming.

In all it took me about three hours to fit the Hamicad as I changed all indicators and fitted an Autocom at the same time. 3 hours which I enjoyed pottering in garage whilst off work.

Very pleased with Hamicad and I don't notice any gaps worth remarking on, you sure you fitted it underneath the back seat :P

The job looks a good one though

It was fitted to a K5. Once you slide the hamicad in place i found i could not flex the plastic at all for the two bolts that go to the rear of the hamicad. The plastic ran under the hamicad and it was impossible to pull it out without damaging it...or so i thought. Hence the cut but maybe i just made more work for myself

I find it hard to believe that there are not two small gaps on either side of your undertray as the hamicad is not as long as the plastic snow shovel and does not run as far into the bodywork and hence does not cover enough of the exposed undertray.

I also felt the undertray was a lil low but now it is nice and tight up against the hamicad

Do you have a pic of the underside of your so i can compare?

I love the gaps that the Hamicad leaves...

What broke? Iv'e just ordered a hamicad, and didn't know they were prone to breaking? I thought they had a really good reputation.
