It doesn't say either way if the guy was killed or even badly hurt... Billy got run over by a truck, remember? There's a guy on SV Rider who got a salvage bike, and later found out the rider had been killed in the accident that wrote it off... That'd be quite freaky.

TBH, I doubt that there is much salvageable on a bike like that. I see it has hit $400, there is no guarantee that the engine is not damaged. wheels etc bent. Far too much risk for me. He says subframe and swinging arm are ok. thats one hell of a lot to pay for those.

Bikes like that belong in the crusher.

Its always sad to see the results of an RTA, but to flog it without any compassion or feeling for its previous owner (who lets face it, is most likely riding the big twisties in the sky) is just sick, what a vampire

Wiltshire police use a similar bike as an exhibit in their road safety campaign.
It was donated by the widow of the biker.

Every time I ride through the twisty where this guy was killed I am extra careful.
