Default Battery, spec, price, where from?

OK, Bike been on optimate for 2 weeks whilst I was away. Had it out for a play for a few hours on Thursday and come this morning dead.

So the battery is original and now 6 years old so guess I have had moneys worth

Quick trwal on the net and I can get a Yuasa YT12ABS (is this the correct one for a curvy) for £43.49 inc of delivery from The Fast one , is this a good price?

Call me daft, but why would I pay £51 from Knight when I can get the genuine Yuasa for £43.49 inclusive of vat and delivery?. Must be the Yorkshire half of my genes becoming dominant

You now suggest the YTX9A-BS This is an acid filled. Are they suitable for the SV?: where the OEM is a gel filled and sealed battery. Presumably Suzuki go for a more expensive battery for a reason
