I get mine from the local hardware store. Have to bring my own clean milk container with "Parafin" written all over it, costs very little.

This is in Saaf london in South Noorwood. But the best bet is to use www.yell.co.uk and search for local hardware stores to you, and give them a call, no point coming all the way to my local gaff just to pick up a couple of pints of parafin

I got mine in B&Q, they call it Parasen ( I think it's the same stuff, it cleans the chain up loverly) and it's in the outdoor/BBQ section.

No point asking the staff in there cos they had no idea they even sold it.

It'll be outside hidden in the gardening section at B&Q. Labelled Parasene, it's clear and low odour compared to some. Careful with white sprit: some I bought recently for cleaning purposes gave me breathing difficulties after inhaling the fumes - not nice.

I bought 5 litres, weekend just gone.

The Motorists Centre. Chain store, but not as big as Halfrauds!

Many petrol stations sell it, like many sell Gas bottles, you probably would never have noticed until you look. Paraffin is usually for sale on the forecourt where you would expect to see BBQ stuff in the summer. It will be in about a 4L bottle/container, usually white.

Take a looksee at your local petrol stations, I’d be surprised if out of five if at LEAST one didn’t sell it.
