I ordered one of these yesterday. I have no number plate light at the minute after recently fitting an undertray. Don't know what they're like. Will soon find out!

Kwak,

You could try one of these from M & P as an alternative. IIRC someone on here has used one, it bolts onto one corner of your number plate and is about as wide as a 1p piece.

Trying to decide on one myself as my bike currently doesn't have one at all (it fell off officer ) so I'll need to fit one myself.

HTH

That looks pretty much the same as the one off M&P that I was considering.

Where does the wire go? Assuming it has to come out of the bodywork to go to the plate, is it easy to hide the wire?

I bought one from Squires before my MOT, Fitted in 2 minutes, has bullet connectors as standard so need clipping and soldering. Lights 75% of the plate but i had to mount it closer to the plate than i'd have liked because of the hole from previous light. Works well though and is hidden pretty well, BIG from me.
