Default Micheldever

Hells teeth! If any of you have never been to Micheldever it is a sight to behold!!! 9am yesterday morning I found the queue out of the site and way round the corner - at least 40 cars long. I parked up by the gate and wander along the queue to see if I have to wait in the line and a bloke with a clipboard shows me where the bike bay is. Glowering looks from the cars as I go by them all and 15 minutes later I ride out. Very quick, very efficient and even advice on where the slippery bit of tarmac is just outside the gate was appreciated.

5 other bikes showed up while I was being sorted - all Kawasaki's which was spooky. The line of cars is sorted quick too as I've never seen so many fitting bays in one place before. I might even drive down there next time I need tyres for the car, although I'll throw a sickie to do it and go in the week if Saturdays are normally so busy. Mentioned it to one of the other dads picking up their kids from a birthday party later on and he also goes there so the 120 mile round trip is well worth it.

Oh, and the Z6 only had a centimeter of chicken strip by the time I got back - it felt so planted, even though I was taking it very gingerly.

I had just the front done. 81 notes ride in which was way less than the 127 my local dealer quoted me and marginally less than the 85 that Essential Rubber quoted.

Cheers, I may give them a call and see what they charge for a complete set.

It's around £170 for Z6 front and rear.
I paid £175 for Viper Sports, which I was quite pleased with.

Cheers Michael, that's about what I pay for the set in Reading so may as well keep to that one.
