Default Rear brake caliper mounting bolt

Before your next ride, take a socket to yours and make sure it's solid - mine came off tonight and threw the caliper off the disk - Hairy moment!

Bike's done just over 1200 miles.

This is where it ended up...

300 miles ago it was my chainguard that fell off.

Does Suzuki possess a torque wrench? Think I'll check my wheels before I ride again

I'd take it back to the place you had it serviced, wave a manual under there nose and get them to torque every bolt on the list.......in front of you so you know its done

Like I say, it should have been checked at the first service- hardly suzuki's fault if your dealer cuts corners.

Luckily, as far as I can tell, there's no damage. getting it out of the shed for a clean and a polish so I'll give it a going over. Digging me torque wrench out and checking the front calipers before I go anywhere else on it!

Will give dealer a hard time tomorrow afternoon.
