Default Tom Tom Rider, fairly cheap price

I was surfing arround and found this, its going for £399.96, I know its still expensive, but I paid £499 for mine, wondered if it was of any use for anyone?

Admittedly I've only covered about 1,000 mile a week and gone all over the south of the country, but £400

I must be fortunate, in as much as I've never needed one and can read a map

Cheers Mark.

PC world are now selling (well when they can get some they will be) TT Rider at £399. If you can get a copy of their most recent magazine/catalogue it apparantly has a 10% discount voucher for GPS systems over £300 so Rider is effectively available from them at £359.

Expect some price pressure on this though as the word is that Road Angel are about to launch a bike specific GPS system which will be sold at a launch price of £299. I predict that Bike GPS systems will be in the region of £200 in time for next summer as these people realise that the majority of the market will not pay more for a GPS system than they would for an exhaust can.

Well I see Aldi's is at it again with this Medion product. It has motorbike fitments and at £149 is a fair bit less money.

Is that for the Rider or the standard Tom Tom? I could get lost on the way to the garage so it'd be a pretty nice toy for me to have...
